Me and July - a Mind Conversation

Realizing that today is the last day of July, this is my (mind) conversation between me and July in my daydream time, ahahahaha... 

Me : Hei..hei.. July, where're u goin'? come here..come back...
July : I'm not go anywhere, i just shall turn into august
Me : What.. you'll turn into august..? ouwh why do you go so fast *sad* 
July : Well, i don't mean to leave you dear.. but my time will be end,  i have to turn, august is waiting. 
Me : But i still miss you :(
July : Miss you too. Well..don't be sad. How if you tell me what were happen while we were together huh?  
Me : Well, July... actually when we're together there were some special moments which I have
July : Yeaah.. tell me then
Me : #1 is regarding the wedding reception. We've attended six weddings just within the last 3 weeks. Well you know, the best day for wedding reception is Saturday, right..  means we attended twice wedding in a day. ha ha ha.. cool, isn't it :D
July : Wow.. that was great. What else ? 
Me : #2 is regarding 'House Warming'. There were two 'House Warming' celebrations that we attended this month, Pak Jonny's house (my hubby's boss), in BSD and Bu K's  house (my boss) in Bintaro . It was cool.
July   : Fantastic, it means you can feel the joy also.. tell me more 
Me  : #3 is our 'Loving Day' anniversary. It's not as same as wedding anniversary, it is our courtship anniversary. In Bahasa we call it "Hari Jadian" (why do suddenly i feel embarrassed  while mentioned it ya hehehe) It is on July 15. Actually we usually say "Happy Loving Day" on each 15th and celebrate it on July 15th since 2005. But somehow we missed to celebrate it this month. kinda busy things... After we married this ‘Happy Loving Day’ replaced by "Happy Anniversary Day". But we’ll still use both of them wkwkwkk... a bit much huh… well let it be lah, i made this habit to remind us about our special day >_<
July : Awesome! thank God you have it within me. Is there any other else?
Me : #4. is regarding the 1st day of student on July 21st. It was the most hectic days of the year. But we glad because it represents the result of our hardwork that have been done along the year. 
July : Well..well..well… thank you for sharing me this. Glad to hear that. 
Me : Actually there also some sad and worry matter that live in my mind.You know about the 'baby' thing-ing :(
July : As well as a coin, dear.. it always has two side. In life there will always good and bad, happy and sad.. What we should learn is, just face it..Sometimes don’t be totally worried about everything that is going around you. Let HIM do HIS job. you just need to surrender. Come on… lift your face up and see, his abundant blessings always poured upon you. You’re getting closer to it. Surrender, Ok?
Me : You’re right July, I am awaiting on it. Thanks dear.. cu next year then, gonna miss you *hug*
July : Take care dear, august will taking care you well too. I’ll whisper it *wink*
Me : Thanks July, bye..
July : You're welcome dear… be Good! Bye….

Twilight in Batavia

Finally, Dian success brought me to this place, hahaha. No regrets at all actually, just feel quite ridiculous, the person who introduced me here is some one from Malang who live in Jakarta less than 3 years. And me myself, a Jakarta's resident for almost 8 years but never visit this place at all ... Lol. 

Actually, not because no time or don't know the place..., well, it just feels like less interesting than malls, mountains and beaches. But when I'm here, I feel something new that enjoying the culture, museums and visiting historical place is also fun, not as bad as what I thought before. 

Fine, i got a lesson to learned, next time do not under estimate, challenge your self with something new, and dare to try!

I was admiring at the collections of typewriters in the Museum Mandiri. I have seen some of them, but mostly have not. The inventor was very great. While we enjoy the sophistication of computers, laptops and blackberry today, I agree... this collection should be preserved.

I often see this building as pre-weding background. This is the Jakarta History Museum or Museum Fatahillah. It's very classic. I agree if this is the signature of Batavia.

I love to be surrounded by kids, i love to be at school, especially if the school is very tidy, clean and cool like where i am now. There so many awesome spots. 

I come from the village where the school is very ordinary. So when I joined this international school for working, feels like incredible - beyond my expectation. 

Therefore let's capture it for memories and fun, while school is on holiday :)

si CALCULATE IT!

Sering bingung deh dengan aliran uang. Kadang pas lirik dompet, lho koq tinggal selembar padahal baru aja ambil dari ATM. Blom lagi gampangnya fasilitas gesek sana gesek sini. Sadar2 pas lihat saldo di ATM, lho uangku pada kemana? Lho koq saldonya tinggal segini? lho koq bisa cepet banget abisnya? dan lho koq - lho koq lainnya pun bermunculan.

Jadi kepikiran untuk bikin begini nih. Basically sih ini adalah teori lama yaitu : CATATLAH PENGELUARAN anda! dengan begitu anda bisa mengetahui kemana saja sih aliran dana anda, termasuk bisa untuk menjawab pertanyaan "Boroskah Anda?" hehee... 

Oya, jadi inget..dulu waktu masih mahasiswa rajin deh bikin beginian, mungkin karena masih rajin ber-diary-an kali ya. Dan herannya, meskipun uang bulanan pas-pasan, tapi masih bisa nabung loh walaupun sedikit-sedikit. Memang sih ya, dengan komit tulis pengeluaran ini jadinya bisa memantau.. Oh hari ini aku boros, ada hal yang engga begitu penting yang aku beli.. berarti besok harus diimbangi, ga boleh ada pengeluaran ekstra selain memang butuh (banget).

Tp semenjak kerja, wew..kebiasaan itu kemana ya? seperti menguap tanpa jejak. 
Nah, sekarang (mumpung sadar hahaha) aku mo mulai lagi ah..tapi kali ini I need the simplicity one. Sesuatu yang bisa ditaro didompet, tanpa harus membuat jurnal atau buku besar atau apalah itu namanya hehe. Ternyata simpel lhoo..after Klik sana-klik sini, ukur sana-ukur sini, jadilah dia.. taarraaa..!!! Tinggal print bolak balik di kertas dan lipat2, jadilah dia...si "Calculate It!" Hemat, Praktis dan simpel, tinggal dibawa kemana2 bersama dompet tercinta. 

Sekarang tinggal komitment untuk mengisinya.. Semangat!! (dan hemat ya. Ingat, hemat... bukan pelit :D)

Baru saja membaca sebuah artiket tentang pernikahan, dan itu bagus sekali untuk dibaca dan dipahami. Memang sih usia pernikahanku baru 3 tahun, masih balita, masih banyak yang harus dipelajari. Jadi terpikir untuk memposting ulang di blog ini, untuk mengingatkanku tentang apa saja sih ciri-ciri pernikahan yang sehat itu, dan semoga bisa aku terapkan bersama dengan pasangan untuk membangun sebuah pernikahan yang sehat. Berikut ulasannya:  

  

Siapapun pasti ingin merasakan hubungan pernikahan yang mulus juga sehat. Namun cukup sehatkah pernikahan yang kini Anda jalani?

Tak jarang Anda membandingkan kondisi pernikahan dengan pasangan lain. Perasaan iri sering kali melanda saat melihat pasangan yang bahagia layaknya pasangan baru. Padahal mungkin saja pernikahan yang Anda jalankan justru merupakan pernikahan yang sehat.

Ketimbang sibuk membandingkan diri dengan pasangan lain, yuk kita lihat ciri pernikahan sehat seperti yang dikutip dari Suite101.

1. Pondasi hubungan yang kuat
Yang diperlukan dalam sebuah hubungan pernikahan tak hanya perasaan cinta yang kuat, namun juga pondasi pertemanan yang kokoh. Dalam sebuah pernikahan, pasangan adalah rekan hidup yang sejajar. Yang akan menemani di saat susah dan senang. Anda juga perlu mencintai pasangan layaknya seorang sahabat, yang bersedia mendukung seluruh mimpinya, membantunya bangkit saat terjatuh, dan berjuang menggapai tujuan bersama.

2. Komunikasi

Ciri pernikahan yang sehat adalah memiliki komunikasi yang lancar antara suami-istri. Dalam sebuah hubungan, seringkali kedua-belah pihak tidak sepaham, namun dengan komunikasi yang baik, jalan tengah bisa ditemukan.

3. Senyum dan tawa
Senyuman dan gelak tawa juga merupakan ciri pernikahan yang sehat. Jika suami-istri selalu bisa berbagi rasa bahagia mereka, dan tertawa bersama, maka hubungan mereka dipastikan kuat. Sebaliknya, jika kedua pihak tak lagi bisa berbagi kebahagiaan bahkan lelucon bersama, maka dapat dipastikan pernikahan mereka tengah mengalami masalah.

4. Cara mengatasi masalah
Cara pasangan mengatasi masalah juga memperlihatkan kekuatan hubungan mereka. Jika suami-istri menyelesaikan masalah dengan cara berkompromi, mencari jalan tengah demi kepentingan bersama tanpa menyepelekan kepentingan pasangannya, maka dapat dipastikan pernikahan mereka masih sehat. Sebaliknya, saat suami-istri hanya memikirkan ego masing-masing dan mulai memaksakan kehendaknya, maka hubungan pernikahan mereka berada dalam masalah.

5. Beraktivitas bersama
Suami-istri tak selalu memiliki hobi dan kegemaran yang sama. Namun jika keduanya bisa saling mengerti, bahkan bersedia terlibat dengan aktivitas pasangannya, maka pernikahan mereka dipastikan sehat. Selain itu beraktivitas bersama dengan pasangan juga dapat membuat kedekatan semakin bertambah.
